Course Description:

Join Green Ideas for this On-Demand course, designed for current LEED Green Associates and LEED APs. This course explains the Specifier’s role for a successful LEED project by highlighting what should and should not be included in specifications for LEED projects. We start with an overview of green building and the LEED Rating Systems and then focus on how to clearly specify LEED requirements. By examining several different LEED specification driven credits and the effect that they could have on LEED compliance and documentation. The course concludes with an overview of life-cycle cost impacts and how the overall project budget should be considered instead of a singular focus on first costs.

You must be registered for GBCIs prescriptive Credentialing Maintenance Program prior to taking this course!
